Lower Eyelid Surgery
Lower eyelid surgery, or lower blepharoplasty, focuses mainly on the eyebag treatments. Eyebags commonly occur as part of aging of the lower eyelid. The bulge of the eyebag is due to fat protruding outwards from under the eyeball. It is often associated with a groove below the eyebag, and loose skin in the lower eyelid. To obtain the best outcome, we should ideally address all three issues: the eyebag, the groove (where present), and the loose skin (where present).
