Medlite C6 Q-Switched ND:YAG Laser
This versatile laser can be used invasively or non-invasively to address a variety of skin problems.
Melasma and skin rejuvenation
It is most commonly used as an effective, non-invasive treatment for deep pigmentation, or melasma. The long wavelength of the laser energy allows it to penetrate deeply into the skin to reach stubborn pigmentation in this area. Multiple monthly treatments can safely reduce this type of stubborn pigmentation without aggravating it. At the same time, the laser energy stimulates collagen production and rejuvenates the skin by improving its texture.
Unwanted tattoos are removed using the Medlite C6 Q-Switched Nd:YAG laser. The wavelength of the laser energy is selected and tuned to the pigment to be removed, so that most of the energy is targeted at the tattoo pigment with minimal damage to the skin. This ensures effective tattoo removal with minimal scarring. Multiple gentle treatments are carried out at 4 to 6 week intervals to gradually remove the tattoo and achieve inconspicuous to no scarring. In addition to body tattoos, this laser can also effectively remove unwanted eyebrow and eyeliner tattoos without significant scarring.
